Universal Columns

Universal columns are essential for any major support or structural integrity in building construction. Universal columns, or “H-Beams” are very popular in the building trade used mainly for structural support.

The vertical middle section of the universal column is known as the web and the horizontal component is known as the flange. The web and the flange are the same length/dimensions. Sizes are determined by the web, flange and weight per metre.
