Reinforcing Steel

Cast on the inside of concrete and used in the construction of buildings, pavement, roads, and bridges, steel reinforcing is required due to the low tensile strength of concrete. Steel reinforcing adds tensile strength to the concrete structure and reduces the tensile stresses caused by the structure on the concrete.
